How Earth Drinking Water Is Purified, Tested and Certified
Earth Packaged Drinking Water is purified in a multi-stage process: filtration, reverse osmosis, UV sterilization and ozonation. Each production run is batch coded. Permit 09214-0016-0113. The certification decision is dated 18 August 2026, and the permit is valid from 19 August 2026 to 19 August 2027. Production follows HACCP, GMP and a Water Safety Plan. Coliforms, E. coli, pH, TDS and turbidity are tested monthly.

Ozone disinfects the water before bottling. It breaks down quickly and leaves no taste.

Bottles are filled and sealed in a controlled area. Each bottle receives a batch code.
Reverse osmosis is a purification method that forces water through a semi-permeable membrane. The membrane blocks most dissolved salts, metals and microorganisms.

We test Earth water to confirm the process is working. Tests are run monthly at the in-house laboratory in Kansanga. Some samples are also sent to the UNBS laboratory. Results are kept on file and shared with institutions on request.

20L bottles
How Returned 20L Bottles Are Cleaned and Sanitized
Every returned 20L bottle is inspected before reuse. Cracked or badly damaged bottles are removed from circulation. Accepted bottles are washed by machine. A person then checks each bottle before it is refilled.

Each Earth bottle carries a batch code printed on the bottle or cap. The code links it to a production date and run. If you report a concern, we use the code to check that batch’s records.

Storage
Store upright, clean, cool, and out of direct sunlight. Do not use damaged or unsealed bottles.
